As Head of e Marketing in the UK for HSBC, Paul Say, is responsible for the development, adoption and monetisation of the bank’s ‘e’ customer proposition including internet banking, sharedealing, mobile banking, web, mobile and e-mail marketing. Paul has worked for HSBC for 6 years since he joined as Internet Marketing Manager. Since then he has worked for HSBC Asia Pacific as Regional e Business Consultant and in 2002 Paul moved to telephone and direct bank, first direct, where he was Head of e Marketing. His leadership, at what was the first ever telephone bank, has resulted in 40% of total sales now being through electronic channels, 71% of its customer base using electronic channels and 72% of all customer transactions now being made through electronic delivery.
