BCA, wholly owned by Bertelsmann, has a turnover of over £100 million a year, with more than 2 million members across 20 clubs. With an annual marketing and advertising spend of £60 million, the company is one of the UK's largest direct marketing organisations.
Louis heads up BCA Interactive which leads the e-commerce activity of the clubs, with over 90 individual Club web sites. Many can be found under the umbrella www.booksdirect.co.uk. BCA Interactive is also responsible for bol.com. Prior to BCA, Louis was Internet Manager for Waterstones.
