Avis Group is a leading car rental company in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, operating under an exclusive licence via the globally recognised Avis and Budget brands.
Mirko has been working in the European online travel industry since 1998. Initially working at a small Internet start-up company in Germany he then became a founding member at ebookers.com. He lead the team to design and launch the original ebookers.com website in August '99 and then roll out localised versions in more than 10 countries across Europe. Currently he is E-commerce Manager EMEA for Avis Europe and in charge of defining the overall online marketing strategy and driving consumer business direct.
