Holiday user review website TripAdvisor is relaunching its website, with the revamped version now live in the UK and the US version to follow by the end of the year.  

VibeAgent is a hotel search and review site that's currently in private beta - users submit hotel reviews and recommendations, while the site allows you to book the hotel online.

TripAdvisor is proof that Web 2.0 isn't particularly new - the seven-year old travel website is based around user-generated content and has a thriving community.

We sat down with Marc Charron, TripAdvisor's European managing director, to discuss the company's past, present and future.

Tripadvisor has confirmed it is planning to syndicate content to other websites in a bid to expand its already massive online community.

The site, which houses over 5m reviews of destinations and hotels, said it has received numerous approaches from travel companies about content licensing deals.
