Traditionally, at least up until now, the porn and gaming industries have been ahead of the pack when it comes to technical innovation and payment processing, but in this case, they’re second to the party...
There’s not much to say really apart from the fact that PornoTube functions much the same as YouTube, doing all the usual Web 2.0 stuff like tagging, RSS, commenting, rating, and embedding of content into other sites, all with nice gradients and a simple user interface.
Most importantly however, the site is free for users, so one would expect that over the next while, there will be a sharp increase in its traffic, with a corresponding increase in porn downloads!
That said, I’m wondering if this is a user generated content example which will buck the 1% rule (1% of your traffic will get involved and take part - creating the interactive Web 2.0 effect), and perhaps hang around long enough for the long tail to take effect.
