Nedstat reports record sales of €9m in 2004
Release Date: 25 January 2005
Diemen, 25 January 2005 – Nedstat, European leader in website analytics, has continued its strong growth in 2004. The company achieved revenues of € 9 million, an increase of more than 28% compared to 2003. Profit was also substantially higher than in 2003. Nedstat has been profitable for the last eight consecutive quarters.
All of Nedstat ’s European offices have contributed to the sales growth. Sales outside the Netherlands have increased to 40% of total sales compared to 34% in 2003 and 24% in 2002. The company added 201 new clients for Sitestat, its top-end product and most important source of income, of which 60 were in the fourth quarter.
“We look back at a very successful year for our company”, says Michael Kinsbergen, CEO. “All our offices achieved a strong growth in sales. For our main product Sitestat, we have welcomed a large number of new customers. And with the strengthening of our financial position by Prime Technology Ventures in November last year, we are strongly positioned for continuing European expansion.”
In 2005 Nedstat will continue to expand its organization and invest for further growth. Kinsbergen: “The website analytics market will continue to grow and become more advanced. We will therefore expand fast in a number of areas. In the next six months we will add 20 new people mostly in sales and support. The activities of Nedstat Academy, our user training institute, will be broadened. Also, we will start with Professional Services, a new department for advising our clients on advanced use of our products and interpretation of their statistics.”
For 2005 Nedstat foresees additional growth in sales and number of clients and a further strengthening of its European market position. Sales outside the Netherlands as a percentage of total sales will again be considerably higher.
