Search engine marketing specialist Agence Virtuelle has launched a new online data analysis and benchmarking tool for marketers called E-positioning.
The Swiss firm said that the new tool provides in-depth analysis of European search engines, enabling business customers to compare the success of their brands online against competitors. Companies can use the tool to get real-time data on search engine indexing, see where they are positioned within search engine rankings, and benchmark themselves against up to five competitors. It also provides real-time benchmarking reports, including a simplified curve of evolution and histograms, enabling marketers to track the position of a company over a period of time. Agence Virtuelle said that a key benefit of the product is that it can be localised for different European languages. Separately, the company announced that it has been appointed by new US search engine Gigablast to help develop its European content. This will involve revamping Gigablast's website in order to appeal to the European market as well as the US, followed by a roll out of cost-per-click (CPC) campaigns for European clients. As part of the agreement, Agence Virtuelle will also develop the first CPC campaign on Gigablast.com in the US for a Swiss Watch manufacturer.
