Glossary Term "thin client"

thin client

Related Terms network computer
Description A bare-bones computer that only contains the necessary hardware and software for interacting with a server. One advantage of thin clients is that they can be maintained centrally, since the software they use is on the server side, not on the client machine. Thin clients have nothing to do with Kate Moss.
