| Description | A macro virus that distributes itself via email. The macro is contained within Microsoft Word documents. When executed, it disables a number of safeguards in Word97 and Word2000, then forwards itself to the first 50 email addresses listed in the user's address book (if they use Microsoft Outlook as their email client). It doesn't cause damage to data, but the rate at which it replicates itself over email systems can cause many email servers to crash. |
