Work Exchanges

What are they?

Work exchanges are where you meet a colleague in a non-competing organisation in order to share knowledge, compare notes, and learn from each other. E-consultancy "match makes" you with a relevant person and helps set the agenda for the meeting to ensure both parties benefit.

Who are they for?

Work exchanges are for in-house teams (i.e. not agencies, vendors, suppliers). Typically those who go on work exchanges are management-level e-business / marketing / commercial / operational staff. The topics that are discussed range from specific challenges (e.g. implementing a new content management system) to broader commercial and marketing challenges (e.g. combatting fraud, reducing cost of customer acquisition)

What is the format and venue?

The format is typically a 2 hr one-on-one meeting. The venue is usually the offices of either organisation taking part. However, it is up to you exactly how you want to play it.

When are they?

There is no fixed programme of work exchanges. They happen as and when you want them and a meeting can be arranged. There is no limit to the number of work exchanges E-consultancy runs each year.

How much does it cost?

E-consultancy facilitates work exchanges for free for client-side organisations as part of their Corporate Membership.
