You’ll probably be an experienced email marketer and have a track record of planning, designing and broadcasting email campaigns, but want to get even better. This intensive one-day workshop is split into 3 sessions:
Session One - Leave no stone unturned David Hughes will run through the key leverage points for campaign success including Setting objectives, Data gathering, Contact frequency, Personalisation and Deliverability Session Two - Industry news and developments A review of themes and issues both UK and globally Session Three - Campaign Master-class An opportunity for you own campaigns to be critiqued by David and the other delegates to improve their effectiveness WHO IS THE COURSE FOR? It is designed for experienced marketers or agency staff who feel they have reached a plateau in their email marketing performance and need an injection of fresh thinking from outside their own company or industry. You will probably have a year’s experience working on email campaigns and be familiar with creating multi-part messaging, tracking and reporting as well as managing data for email campaigns. HOW WILL I BENEFIT? Other training courses and seminars rarely give you the chance to reflect on your own work and discuss campaigns and strategy with a group of experienced practitioners. This one day course fuses strategic email marketing training with workshop discussion time. You will get to share your frustrations and challenge other marketers to identify improvements in your own activity. David Hughes runs an independent digital marketing consultancy, Non-Line Marketing, and has over 10 years experience of email and internet marketing. His training and consultancy areas of specialization include on-line data gathering, developing email marketing communication programmes and integrating email marketing with traditional direct marketing channels. He is a trainer and consultant for E-consultancy, Course Tutor for the Institute of Direct Marketing’s Diploma in Digital Marketing and is on the Chartered Institute of Marketing Speaker Faculty. He has been a Consultant with a number of Email Service Providers including Emailvision, Responsys and Communigator, helping client and agency partners with the strategic, technical and operational issues affecting email campaign success and has experience of email in both the B2B and B2C sectors. David is author of the DMA UK Email Marketing Benchmarking Quarterly Report and is a regular speaker for the Institute of Direct Marketing and the DMA on email marketing issues. |
