Mid-weight – Senior, all-rounder
Job Description
Respected and rapidly expanding search marketing agency is currently seeking a talented and creative in-house designer/developer to lead the design function of its marketing department.
In this exciting and challenging role you will develop designs for all of Greenlight’s marketing projects, from our website and email campaigns, to brochures and direct mail pieces. Taking on our existing brand identity and refining it to a sophisticated and comprehensive set of guidelines, you will act as brand guardian to ensure that all Greenlight communications represent this identity.
The workload will be challenging and varied, and you will require a broad range of design experience for print and web, plus other digital formats. The marketing team works in a deadline driven environment, therefore you must be able to complete projects within specified time constraints. You will work closely with a junior designer, for whom you will act as a mentor. This role reports into the Marketing Manager and ultimately the Chief Marketing Officer.
Main duties
You will create designs for a range of marketing campaigns targeting UK and US markets, and play a significant part in shaping our visual identity across a range of media including, but not limited to:
- company website
- product and service literature
- case studies
- brochures
- monthly e-newsletter
- print and digital adverts
- e-mail campaigns
About you
The successful candidate will hold appropriate qualifications in a design based discipline and will possess recent and demonstrable experience of designing for a variety of mediums – min. 4 yrs experience. You will be able to work with our copywriter to complete projects and work with management to satisfy the needs of all stakeholders involved in any given campaign. You will be commercially focused with the ability to interpret and meet the end goals of each design project. Attention to detail and a thorough approach are essential, as is pride in your work. Experience of working in-house or a strong desire to move in-house, would be an advantage.
