Virgin Holidays are looking for a Site Analyst to join their fast growing E Commerce team. The purpose of this role is to source and deliver all analytics, reporting and insight for the Virgin Holidays E Business department, and to provide support and recommendations to the relevant business owner.
As Site Analyst your key accountabilities and responsibilities will be to:
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Produce high level weekly & monthly reports to analyse trends on:
- Traffic
- Conversion
- Sales
- Errors
- Product (General)
- Analyse reports versus targets
- Inform the business owners of any positive or negative results versus defined targets or thresholds (daily)
- Build and document a knowledge base of information that affects the performance of the Web & Trade websites e.g:
- Key booking trends
- Key performing destinations
- Calendar
- Forecasting
Daily Reporting
- Administrate Site Analytics software
- Produce and deliver daily reports
- Monitor hourly trends and inform relevant business owners if any factors go below defined thresholds (e.g. number of errors)
- Co-ordinate 3rd parties (e.g. technology suppliers) to ensure the right reports are created and automated where possible
Competitor Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor competition and inform key business owners
- Build knowledge base of Virgin Holidays SWOT
Merchandising Support
- Help create a calendar of key selling destinations in key periods including search to book data
- Inform merchandising team of successful or unsuccessful offers:
- High level (e.g. what promotional activities
- Pages (what pages work)
- Offers (what product worked/didn't)
- A/B testing
- Support for website improvements
