Virgin Holidays have an exciting new role within their growing E-commerce team. The main objective for this role is to support the delivery and planning of online acquisition , including SEO, PPC, Affiliates and Third Party activity in order to deliver qualified traffic and optimal conversion levels to the Virgin Holidays website.
As Web Acquisition Assistant your key accountabilities and responsibilities will be to:
Support the Web Acquisition Manager in the execution of strategies across SEO, PPC, Affiliates and Third Party site channels
Liaise on a day to day basis with external agencies and suppliers to manage channels and activity
Work closely with internal Marketing department to ensure all scheduling and messaging is kept consistent and is in line with the Virgin Holidays brand guidelines
Liaise with Product and Commercial to ensure that the deals promoted are kept timely and accurate for all activities and are in line with Web objectives
Support and develop relationships with other Virgin Brands to utilise and manage opportunities across the group.
Produce MI for regular weekly and monthly departmental reports
Represent Online Acquisition team in meetings where necessary
Oversee the use of deep links into the site to ensure user journey is optimised and conversion is optimal
Monitor and report on competitor activity
Work closely with the Website Analyst to ensure all data analysis is fed back into the overall acquisition strategy
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will:
Be comercially driven with a track record in SEO, PPC and Affiliate marketing, ideally within Travel
Have experience within online traffic acquisition
Have a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy
Have the ability to work and make decisions under pressure and to tight deadlines
Have the ability to work on own initiative or within the team
