Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an Online Marketing Manager to join a rapidly expanding online clothing e-tailer based in Manchester city centre.

It is essential that you have a solid understanding of the key areas of online marketing such as PPC, SEO, online advertising, social media and other forms of new media.

Key Responsibilities:
• Developing marketing strategy and overseeing marketing budget
• Continual evolution and development of site to increase awareness, traffic, sales, order value and conversion
• Define and implement an ongoing Search Engine Optimisation program
• Administration of pay per click campaign with Google and other search engines
• Administration of Google Analytics and other web analytics packages
• Implementation and management of our email marketing campaign and management of the newsletter database
• Account management of affiliate network partners and other key accounts
• Development and management of online advertising campaigns including creative work
• Implementation of social media campaigns including viral marketing and blog marketing
• Knowledge of interactive advertising media, including digital radio, digital TV and SMS

Candidate Requirements

With this is mind you will be a confident self starter who ideally has in-depth experience in operating online retail environments, with a hands-on approach to promotion, content management and online marketing.

• Proven results in management and maximization of online marketing disciplines to increase traffic and conversions
• Knowledge of current SEO best-practices
• Ability to manage and maximize PPC campaigns on leading search sites
• Practical knowledge of Google Analytics reporting and application of findings to workable solutions
• Experience in management of email strategies and systems
• Experience with affiliate programmes
• Experience of writing content for Social Network Campaigns
• Basic HTML for content copy management
• Basic technical knowledge of back-end inventory and catalogue systems
