The Job
You'll be responsible for ensuring the information architecture of Egg's website and other digital channels are designed with a focus on customer experience and usability.  You'll work with other designers to create and deliver designs and prototypes for interactive solutions.

Working within established creative style guidelines, you'll be responsible for gathering requirements and providing navigational structures, storyboards and mock-ups as appropriate. You'll also produce detailed design specification documents.

 

Candidate Requirements

Experience
We're looking for someone who's been in a similar role with experience in information architecture, particularly for developing user-centred websites and capturing client requirements to turn them into workable designs. Appreciation of graphic design, knowledge of best practices across digital channels, experience of designing and developing leading edge interactive products and services are a must.

You'll need a broad knowledge base including an understanding of business priorities, content management systems, customer behaviour and interaction requirements. You'll also have experience of software such as Visio and Fireworks. Knowledge of Flash and related technologies is also desirable.


Skills and competencies
You'll be expected to communicate with a variety of business areas, so you'll need to be able to work effectively as part of a team in a customer facing environment.
