| Background: | In 1998, I started the UK's first comparison shopping business called "Shopgenie" which I received funding for and grew to 25 people. Later merged it with Kelkoo France and a Spanish company called "Dondecomprar" becoming the "Kelkoo" you see today.
From 1999-2001, I worked as the UK Country Manager for the newly formed Kelkoo and then in International product development to oversee the creation and product creation of the price comparison site and features. A nice jet-setting lifestyle which took me all over Europe. At the start of 2002, I decided to take the decision to do a bit of profressional work for Telewest Broadband as a commercial manager in the Blueyonder broadband internet division. In the meantime I could work on my new venture ideas in the background. April 2004 saw Kelkoo being sold to Yahoo and I was finally able to emotionally detach myself from the business and start the new venture and entrepreneurial process once more. I have been dealing with new start-ups, building teams for my own creations, and working with other entreprenuers and venture companies to bring new products into the marketplace. Once again, work has now become enjoyable! |

Broadband Genie - is a broadband price and product comparison engine which helps people find the best broadband deal by comparing features such as bandwidth caps, speeds, and of course prices in their postcode region Mobile Genie - will be something unique in the mobile phone content space Nitro-Ventrures - this company is owned by two friends of mine and I'm working with them on a couple of ventures in their new incubator stable and a few other things going back to my routes in the "e-commerce / shopping" space which are too early to talk about at this stage |
