| Background: | Spent the 90's working freelance writting pension systems for large insurance companies. In 2000 formed Happygroup with my friend and business partner Jason Porter, to try out some internet ideas we had, one of which was FriendsReunited (although the actual idea was Julie's). The site started to get publicity and momentum in the summer of 2001 and the rest is history!! Also set up Genes Reunited and FriendsReunited Dating. | |

| Current: | Having grown the company to a large size, we felt it was getting too big for us, and brought in a management team in 2003 to move FriendsReunited onto another level. This allowed me to spend some more time with my young children and take some time off. However, I'm still involved in the strategy and ideas behind the site and continue to search for new innovations. |
