| Background: | Phil joined Real Time Studio as MD in 1991 when it had a staff of 10 in the pre-digital area. He went on to build Real Time up to circa 120 staff, a top ten digital agency which won many awards for clients such as www.diesel.com, www.canon.co.uk and created high profile brand identies for the BTA, UK Sport and UK Athletics amongst others. In 2000 he led Real Time into a merger with Evans Hunt Scott to form EHS Realtime and further developed the digital offering with major brands such as Tesco, The Premier League, Egg, Alitalia, and Sport England as well as launching the new MINI online. Keeping with the sporting tradition he also was instrumental in launching England Fans for the Football Association. In 2003, after what seemed like an hour of extra time and feeling drained, merged again to form EHS Brann, with offices in London, Cirencester, Paris and Madrid. Took on role of vice chairman and operations director of the 300+ strong agency. | |

| Current: | After 14 years Phil decided to take a much needed break and left EHS Brann at the beginning of 2004 for a six month sabbatical which concluded in Portugal where Wayne Rooney set the tournament alight, albeit only fleetingly. Having recharged his batteries he has set up Real Time Consultancy, a vehicle that allows him to offer businesses advice as a non-exec for interesting companies.
He is currently chairman of www.mook.co.uk and www.mckenzieclark.co.uk and vice chairman of www.navyblue.co.uk and enjoying every moment of it. Phil is hoping for more of the same in 2005. |
