World Trade Group, based in London Bridge, are international producers of high level business events. Currently expanding and recently moved to new offices we are experiencing a sustained period of growth and have ambitious expansion plans for the foreseeable future. We are currently looking to develop and grow an excellent community website within various industries.

Description

The role will involve developing an existing community website both in terms of managing its’ content and commercial business development.

There will be a diverse editorial schedule of content covering various industries to produce each month, excellent organisational and management skills will be needed to excel in this role.

Business knowledge is preferable but not essential- although a passion for B2B sales and marketing issues is a must.

The role will include developing the member experience online, improving functionality and the online customer journey.

Job Responsibilities

• Growth and development of an online community
• Work with the creative/design team within the company to make the website visually engaging and commercially attractive to potential clients.
• Ensure that the website is consumer friendly and manage the editorial schedule.
• Dealing with member queries
• Supporting sponsor requirements.
• Business development and growth of numbers of members

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Experience in an e-commerce marketing environment
• Proven experience in successful Project Management
• An understanding of basic e-Commerce metrics and the drivers of a successful Internet business
• Developing strategies that are key to driving customer acquisition, conversion and retention
• Self starter that is ambitious and constantly looking to improve themselves professionally with strong project management skills.
