Job Description

Buy.at is a market-leading affiliate network which builds and delivers innovative on-line sales programmes for some of the best known brands in the UK.

The role will replace the current interim Sales Director. The remit will include identifying and up-selling to existing clients; forecasting; business analysis; and developing new business.

The Sales Director will have new-business-ownership of named verticals and be expected to research new and existing verticals to develop opportunity.

This is a genuine opportunity to influence the future direction of the company and be recognised for driving the sales team to industry leading performance levels. The key features of the role are:

  • closing business in pursuit of quarterly sales quotas
  • support the generation of outbound sales pipeline in key accounts and territories
  • design and delivery of short and longer term sales plans
  • managing the fulfilment of all aspects of successful sales cycles (RFP’ s, quotes, proposals, presentations, reporting)
  • lead effective relationships with partners including media agencies
  • process management e.g. Territories and comp plans
  • all aspects of customer care
  • timely execution of performance management and the company staffing plans
  • driving the development of sales tools e.g. Competitive selling tools and pitch material
  • ensuring the personal development of the sales team
  • driving productive relationships with all other buy.at teams
Candidate Requirements

You will have a strong desire to succeed in a young and energetic environment and be able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years selling integrated online solutions to help clients achieve business objectives. Other highly desirable attributes include:

  • a minimum of 3 years in a relevant sales management role
  • consistent over achievement of sales targets in a competitive market
  • proven upper quartile sales performance levels in your domain
  • effective problem solving skills
  • strong oral, written and presentation skills
  • ability to hire and retain great New Business Development people
  • natural ability to influence and lead
  • development of high performance sales teams
  • digital industry experience and/or media services sales
