Job Description
Object Oriented PHP5 expert needed to take control of a growing development
team for an E-Commerce Agency with major retail partners.

The right candidate will be a conduit between management and their team,
taking the lead role in the application architecture, mentoring developers and prioritising
development work.

Experience with test driven development is a must.
Candidate Requirements

Must have skills:

  • Knowledge of Test Driven Development and Agile methodologies
  • SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
  • OO PHP 5
  • HTML
  • Source Control (CVS or Subversion)
  • Knowledge of automated deployment techniques
  • Some Linux/UNIX systems administration

Nice to have skills:

  • pl/pgsql
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • XML (RSS, DOM, SOAP)
