Senior Application Developer

A key role within a skilled technical team. Critical for the successful implementation and ongoing improvement of the customers’ e-commerce solution.

• The primary objective of this role is to help develop new versions of the Venda product to enhance functionalities, increase performance, simplify the maintenance, bug fixing and extend integration capabilities
• Fully understand customer requirements, design and implement solutions in a generic way, in order to avoid bespoke development and add value to the Venda platform instead
• To assist other members of the team for the customer e-commerce implementations
• Initiative and participation are required to constantly improve every aspect of the service supplied to Venda’s Customers
• Adopt established processes for a consistent and high quality implementation and constant improvement of the service

Venda rents customers fully functional websites, which can take transactions and are linked into banking and warehousing systems for £4,000 a month.

Venda started in August 2001 and currently there are over 100 staff based in London, New York and Bangkok.

Venda provides an innovative proposition originally based on boo.com and Sparza technologies, which Dan Wagner, Chief Executive Officer, purchased from his company Bright Station.
