THE JOB Design UK is looking for someone who works in one of the UKs largest digital agencies as an Account Manager/Director and is seeking a stronger, more vital role in a growing agency. This person will be bright, enthusiastic and have experience of mid to large-size accounts. They will be ambitious, wanting to drive their career fast with a dynamic agency.
The Account Manager/Director will focus on advising, driving and delivering on a leading upmarket menswear brand and helping develop two luxury brand accouints. The Account Manager will be responsible for the successful management of existing client accounts and is expected to operate at a strategic level to ensure that the client relationship is positive, expectations are managed appropriately, and that existing clients remain a consistent source of revenue for Design UK.
In order to meet these objectives, the Account Manager will partner with clients to understand and interpret their marketing plans and goals and help them to translate and map those goals against Design UKs service offerings to help solve business problems. This will encompass all areas of the clients online corporate initiatives including; website design and development, website maintenance, web-based application development, e-commerce initiatives, marketing presentations, sales and collateral materials, affiliate programs, liaison with offline media agencies, search engine optimization, and training.
In addition, the successful Account Manager will collaborate with, and provide direction to the design UK production teams to ensure the successful execution of client projects from conception through completion. The Account Manager must have a proven track record of 3+ years of successful account planning and management. They must have a demonstrated ability to build, nurture, and leverage relationships with senior and C-level executives using a consultative approach. They must have experience and confidence in their writing and communication skills, as well as developing and presenting account plans and proposals to clients. The positioning also requires networking and negotiation skills, the ability to manage long term online initiatives and interfacing with numerous departments. The Account Manager position offers a base salary plus incentives to grow and manage accounts.
