Job Description

An outstanding opportunity for a bright and motivated graduate to make an excellent start to a career in online marketing / internet / e-commerce.

Following are the areas which the Membership Services Manager would cover, with approx apportionments of time for each. 

Customer Service – 2 days per week
- Replying to e-mail and phone enquiries to E-consultancy, assisting existing and potential subscribers and customers, explaining E-consultancy services and offerings
- Updating user details, profiles and listings
- Updating site content and data
- Corporate Membership: support the Account Director responsible for E-consultancy’s Corporate Members with administration, renewals etc. 

Online Marketing and Research – 1 day per week
- Reearching potential linking partners online
- Posting events, listings, training to relevant sites
- Posting press releases online
- Monitoring web for relevant activity and opportunities (e.g. blog, forum comment)

Advertising Reporting – 1 day per week
- Work with advertising clients to ensure correct copy, graphics and links are in place for their ads
- Monthly reporting for advertising clients 

Accounts Support – 1 days per week
- Preparing weekly invoicing for E-consultancy customers, liaising with Accounts team to issue invoices
- Credit control: following up outstanding unpaid invoices

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Degree educated
• Very used to using the web, search and e-mail
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications and image manipulation software (e.g. Photoshop); basic knowledge of HTML
• Some knowledge of online marketing / e-commerce and a real passion for the internet
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, efficient and focused
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively on several active projects at any one time
• Ambition, intelligence, resourcefulness, honesty
