Job Description
To provide strategic leadership for NESTA’s web resources – providing direction for editorial and technical delivery of NESTA’s web functions in line with NESTA’s broader strategic aims and communications and business strategies.

Leading the Web team in all areas of website strategy, design and maintenance. Contributing to the design and content, providing technical expertise, recommending and implementing new ways of exploiting web technology and ensuring that the website is always effective, available, robust and secure.

Candidate Requirements
The jobholder is a centre of expertise for the organisation’s website strategy and management and acts as the gateway to services in this area. The role involves devising strategy and objectives and ensuring that NESTA has a dynamic and effective web identity. The jobholder must monitor performance of their team to ensure that systems are developed and actioned to deliver these services effectively.

The jobholder needs to have a wide knowledge of the key issues in the organisation as well as having a broad knowledge of the specialist areas under their controls – they need to know where to bring in specialists and how much can be carried out internally.
