Ecommerce Consultant

Overview

Experienced independent e-commerce consultant/strategist required to work at board/investor level to “head up” a market sensing project for the business development of their Brandbank venture.

Brandbank is an organisation currently specialising in the acquisition of image and data content for B2C online retailers.

Role

• Work with the senior team to establish proposition alignment, potential demand and commercial viability. 

• Provide industry data, news and trends.

• Build additional understanding of the operational pain, cost drivers and likely content requirements of UK ecommerce operator’s.

• Perform 'Gap Analysis' and identify opportunity areas.

• Carryout market sensing with ecommerce retailers, measure the interest and obstacles.

Although there are no prerequisites as such, it is important the applicant’s pedigree speaks for itself. The individual must have proven consulting or deployment experience and demonstrate suitability. A broad network and understanding of the retailer's challenges in obtaining content are essential.
