I am only involved with the IDM qualifications currently (although i do run 1 day introductory workshops for CIM).

Anyway, I would rate the IDM qualifications as more advanced than the CIM qualifications.

The IDM Certificate topics which we have just updated this year , will be familiar to many people working in digital, but probably not all the topics and with the face-to-face delivery you get the benefits of many experts describing best practice in their area - I certainly learn from other tutors.

The Diploma  is at a more strategic level - many who know the tactics want to learn how to develop a more strategic approach.
