Hi Claire

The specification of an IA resource, is a project I'm currently working on. To date we have found at least nine different types of IA.

I think the questions you should be asking are;

  • what are the influences upon the IA
  • what are the experiences of the IA
  • what are the IA's processes
  • what does the IA deliver
  • also should the IA be creative

From here you can create a profile of the type of IA you require.

This question is very interesting to me as London IA’s tend to be very different to Glasgow IA’s or USA and apparently Australian IA’s
