We are in the process of specifying a web based - print application as opposed to a down loaded software that we currently provide our customers, thus allowing them to use our service. This is with a view to both our customers and us benefiting from the advantages of an on demand or web based application.
We currently support multiple branded printers through the provision of a driver support service in case of problems printing i.e printer specific drivers can searched for and downloaded.
My question: Is it possible to support our customers printers through a web based solution that provides a sinilar support facility for printers as opposed to the current system where drivers need to be downloaded by the customer.
