Generally integration should only take a day or two - integrating affiliate tracking code is rarely more difficult than integrating code for say Google Analytics - typically it will only be a few lines of Javascript.

What can take the time, particularly if you have a  bespoke checkout which was not written by your current web agency, is finding where in the code to integrate the Javascript so that it only triggers on completed sales.

Having said all that, maybe you should be looking to change your web agency - some of us will work for far less that £750 per day ;)
