Email newsletter

I'm involved in a not for profit organisation that is looking to start a newsletter.  I've been tasked at finding a low cost or free service that can help manage the service.

I've looked at Pure360 in the past, and was wondering if there are any (near) equivalent services that are free, or nearly free?

Initially there will be about 200 emails going out per batch/month, though this will increase to up to 500.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Rosie
