Email tracking using outlook

Hi Andy

What I like about econsultancy is that you learn something every week. Do you have a web link to learn more about Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

How does you proposed combination recognise and track click through within the email and the resultant visit to the website through to sale?  One of the key pieces of marketing information after conversion rates is the number of people falling by the wayside and at what point.

Kind regards

Tony

Sarah,

I think if you read any reviews on CRM software then by far the most integrated with Outlook is the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 product.

Being a Microsoft Partner we can install the product free of charge, but there is an SME version that is very reasonably priced.

The great thing about the Microsoft CRM product is that you can carry out all of your functions from directly within Outlook. So you'd easily be able to segment your 10k contacts and send personalised emails using simple templates.

Of course you're getting a full CRM system as well so you'll have a complete history of all your email interactions as well as ability to track them from prospects to customers and beyond.

If you hold all of your contact details currently in Outlook migrating the data will be as easy as clicking the "Track in CRM" button.

If you want to find out more about our experiences with using Microsoft CRM you can get in touch via the website.

Kindest regards,

Andy.
