Could I ask my fellow SEO practictioners what their feelings are about online directories such as:
Do these directories play a legitimate role in SEM? Are they using 'approved' methods to achieve high rankings?
Over the past weeks many of our clients have been contacted with offers in the line of 'for £xx we can get your listing on the first page of Google, etc.' and I would like to offer a balanced view.
