Hi Johnny

Yes, The IDM is recognised - it's the world's largest direct marketing training organisation.

I wrote much of the original 'digital' content on the Certificate & Diploma courses, and contributed to the recent overhaul: you will find that the courses give you a solid grounding in digital marketing, and in the often forgotten testing principles of direct marketing. You'll get similar groundings in mobile and offline media marketing too.

What you can't easily get from the course materials is bang up to date reference on current best practices: digital practice moves too fast for it to be included in course documentation. Lecturers may give you some insights. Participating in forums like this one, and specialist PPC/SEO communities is the only way to keep right up to date.
