PPC advertising with a high search engine ranking

Hello,

This was discussed at our Paid Search Roundtable earlier this year when the feeling seemed to be that it was not typically worth the investment being a top PPC listing if the term[s] are already high on natural listings.

It may be worth investing that money in another way. However, it was suggested that there is definitely a multiplier effect for specific point of sale terms as a result of exposure on organic and sponsored listings.

You may also obviously want blanket coverage all over the search engine results pages if you are doing paid search for branding purposes.
