Yahoo (formerly overture) Miva (formerly e-spotting) and Mirago all offer similar products, however Adsense has been a lot more willing to offer their service to smaller publishers in the past. Yahoo and Miva in particular only work with publishers who already deliver significant page impressions.

For smaller publishers Mirago are easier to get onto and offer a higher % of revenues, their integration is a  lot more flexible from a design point of view. However, with much fewer ads running the match to your site content isn't as good and prices per click won't have been pushed up as far

I also don't think their technology for detecting page content  is as smart as Adsense.

Overall I'd stick with Adsense if you're a small site, but investigate options with the other big networks if you're delivering 1 million plus impressions per month, especially in rich PPC segments like finance of gambling.
