I have just received a letter from BT telling me the good news that I am being upgraded for Free (Yippee!!!) from 1 to 2 mb.
What the letter doesn't say is that if I opt out from this and stay on 1mb my bill will be significantly reduced. You have to make several phone calls and be kept on hold for tens of minutes before you can find this out!
Anyone daft enough to still be with BT please note.
