The AdSense program continues to develop and recently Google started to allow website owners to post multiple ad blocks - up to 3 a page - on their sites.
I've just started experimenting with these to see what impact they have on my overall AdSense income but during tests I've found that I get very different ads on two different websites even if I use identical HTML for the pages. For example, I wrote a quick page about web hosting services and posted it on 2 sites. I got ads about webhosting on one site and ads about Adwords on the other.
Both pages were new and neither pages are getting Public Service Ads so Google "knows" what they are about. This shows that Google uses factors other than the basic HTML of a page to select ads for inclusion on the page.
If you want to check them out here are the links but Google's algorithm may catch on soon and correct the error.
