Good points about those WAI items - it’ll be nice to have version 2 of the standard out, which will hopefully be a bit more up to date!
Definitely, although the more the W3C develop them the more they seem to be looking just like the first lot! Check it out at http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/. I think the plan is to release them some time next year...
