E-consultancy is committed to making its Web site accessible in accordance with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA). E-consultancy aims to provide equal access to services, information and products offered through its online channel to all users, regardless of ability.
E-consultancy’s accessibility compliance level has been established using the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 as published by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
E-consultancy has engaged the expertise of Segala in its drive towards accessibility. Segala is E-consultancy’s exclusive partner for the provision of Web accessibility evaluation and certification. Segala is responsible for auditing all E-consultancy Web products and evaluates pages with multiple assistive technologies, such as screen readers and screen enlargement software, and with users with a variety of disabilities. Segala has provided an online Certificate linked to a visual Trustmark which can be found on the bottom of each certified page to display conformance to the E-consultancy accessibility standard. By clicking on the Trustmark, users can read about each best practice design technique that was implemented on the site. Users may also report any false claims through the ‘Report misuse of the Trustmark’ facility. However unlikely, it is possible that some pages may be contradictory to some claims as a result of updates to content such as user generated content.
Due to the large volume of pages on the E-consultancy Web site (many of which, while updated regularly, were designed some time ago) it is not possible at this time for all pages to meet our targeted Web accessibility level. E-consultancy is committed to making its site more accessible and continues to test and modify the site for accessibility. E-consultancy is committed to accessibility by ensuring it is part of its brand and development guidelines. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any problems accessing any of our content. E-consultancy has endeavored to cater for as many users as possible but there may be occasions when further improvements can be made.
